A JOYFUL, CONTEMPORARY TOUCH
TRANSFORMING ORDINARY DETAILS INTO LIVELY PATTERNS
My sketchbook is filled with local birds and butterflies, homey details, and rambling cottage gardens. It fills me with so much joy to be able to capture the beauty of these little moments and to share them with you in my patterns.
MADE WITH CAREEVERY PATTERN STARTS BY HAND
I’m drawn to patterns that feel warm, earthy, and tactile. Wherever my patterns are featured, I want the person on the other side to feel the human touch that went into creating each pattern’s unique story.
All of my licensing collections feature patterns I created through traditional hand-carved block printing methods, gouache paintings, and pen and ink illustrations.
After I make the original, I carefully vectorize the artwork in Adobe Illustrator to create a production-ready pattern. I want each piece to be able to scale to fit different surfaces and products, but still keep its handmade charm.
COLLECTED COTTAGE
Collected Cottage celebrates what we choose to keep. Inspired by pressed botanicals, handwritten letters, and antique sewing notions, it honors the objects that carry our stories. I see it living across thoughtfully crafted products and every goods. Each pattern is infused with worn textures and handcrafted marks that invite you to slow down and notice.
COLLECTED COTTAGE
FROM NEW ENGLAND, WITH LOVEWILD NEW ENGLAND STYLE AND A BIT OF HOMESPUN MAGIC
As a lifelong New Englander, many of my pattern designs reimagine classic New England features.
I draw most of my inspiration from exploring the natural beauty of my own home. I find ideas visiting local flower farms, hiking the cranberry bog trails near my house in Plymouth, Massachusetts, and exploring the nearby beaches of Cape Cod.
You’ll find more than just New England charm here, though. I’m a traveler at heart, and I’ve developed an eclectic illustration style by studying historical patternmaking techniques and global art styles from around the world.
