Elevating Everyday Style
I wanted my collection with Loomwell to be something that would bring a warm, artisan touch to your everyday spaces.
All of the illustrations you see in the wallpapers were slowly crafted by hand, often layering different mediums on top of each other to create rich textures in the final design.
You’ll see pen-and-ink drawing, gouache painting, and block printing throughout my work. I’ve always felt it’s that kind of perfectly imperfect hand-touch that can give your home its character.

Country Comforts is a collection rooted in slow living and countryside simplicity. I drew most of my inspiration from small, meaningful moments. I wanted to the collection story to give little glimpses into the things we sometimes forget to appreciate and notice—small wildflowers in bloom, backyard hens at play, little found objects that turn up in your pockets, and the traditional textiles that are really the fabric of life in so many family homes.

FAQ’S ABOUT MY WORK WITH FIGO

Any of the photographs showing sewing projects on my website were either handmade by me or by Nathalie McKee of Golden Thimble.
Since I’m still learning to sew, I’d recommend connecting with Natalie to learn more about her sewing patterns. She’s a professional sewist, and you’ll see her work in the tote bags, egg totes, and dresses featured on the site.
The collection page on FIGO’s website also has a collection of patterns they’ve curated to work well with all the Country Comforts fabrics too, so that’s also a great place to start.
